Case Studies
Adianer was one of the first companies in the chlor-alkali industry to undertake zero-gap modifications for ion-exchange membrane electrolysers. Through steady development, the company has specialized in the fabrication and recoating of chlorine, hydrogen, and oxygen evolution electrodes. In the early stages, it developed electrodes suitable for low-current-density forced-circulation electrolysers, high-current-density natural-circulation electrolysers, and zero-gap electrolysers, establishing partnerships with numerous chlor-alkali enterprises. In the early stages of low-current-density forced-circulation cells, the company collaborated with Blue Star Beihua Machinery to supply electrodes. For the retrofitting of high-current-density zero-polar-distance electrolysers, the company collaborated with enterprises such as Ningbo Zhenyang Chemical Co., Ltd., Kaifeng Dongda Chemical Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of China Pingmei Shenma Group), and Jiaozuo Coal Industry (Group) Kaiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. Additionally, the company engaged in multifaceted cooperation with Baotou Haipian Polymer Industry Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Dongfang Hope Group) and Dongxing Chemical Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Yidong Group) on Asahi Kasei electrolysis cell installations. Domestic ion-exchange membrane complete sets were applied in the electrolysers of Wuhu Ronghui Chemical Co., Ltd.’s chlor-alkali project. Annual maintenance contracts for electrolysers were signed with Xinpu Chemical (Taixing) Co., Ltd. for 2020–2022, and a 2021 contract was signed with China Salt Changzhou Chemical Co., Ltd. A number of leading Chinese chlor-alkali enterprises, including Huludao Jinxi Chemical, Wudi Xinyue Chemical, and Ningxia Risheng, have established extensive business relationships with our company. In 2023, Adianer undertook the 60,000-ton caustic soda new construction project for Wudi Xinyue Chemical and the 50,000-ton caustic soda electrolytic cell replacement project for Anhui Wuhu Ronghui Chemical.
