Kaifeng Dongda Chemical Co., Ltd., China Pingmei Shenma Group
The ZMBCH-2.7 electrolytic cell manufactured by Beijing University of Chemical Technology was retrofitted to eliminate the inter-electrode distance. Prior to the retrofit, the maximum operating current density was 4.5 kA; following the retrofit, the current density increased to 5.5 kA. The retrofit has delivered excellent results, significantly boosting production capacity while reducing specific power consumption.
