Hangjin Technology Co., Ltd.
The company, originally known as Huludao Jinxi Chemical, was one of the earliest domestic producers of caustic soda. In 1996, it introduced ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers from Asahi Glass of Japan, officially transitioning from diaphragm-cell caustic-soda production to ion-exchange-membrane-cell production. Currently, the company operates single-cell Asahi Glass F2-type and double-cell B1-type ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers, as well as Chlor-Alkali Engineering’s BiTAC-type electrolyzers. The 30,000-ton caustic-soda plant utilizes the Chlor-Alkali Engineering i-BiTAC system, which represents the earliest electrolyzer design and is now approaching the end of its service life. In 2023, our company supplied state-of-the-art electrolyzers to replace this outdated configuration.
